On Saturday, November 5, Tana Exploration employees, family members and friends will lace up their sneakers and join hundreds of other walkers for the 2011 Montgomery County Heart Walk. Tana Exploration, which is based in The Woodlands, is a corporate sponsor for this charity event, which raises money for the American Heart Association.

“We are very proud to support this organization,” said Kevin Talley, President of Tana Exploration. “Within the Tana family, two employees have been affected by cardiovascular disease, and we want to honor them by supporting this event.”

A majority of Tana’s employees reside in The Woodlands, and many have participated in previous Heart Walks. The Tana team hopes to raise $10,000 for this year’s Heart Walk.

Tana Exploration believes in being a good corporate citizen and contributes to local and global organizations. Among charitable groups that the company has supported are an orphanage in Mexico that helps disabled children and a Christian ministry which assists poor communities in Honduras.
