Since February of 2002 Tana has acquired, negotiated and traded its way into a total of 78 leases in the Gulf of Mexico and over 8 million acres in the Gulf of Thailand. The majority of Tana's Gulf of Mexico leasehold, which was acquired in Federal Offshore Lease Sales, consists of over 368,833 gross and 270,990 net acres. Tana's working interest in its Gulf of Mexico leasehold averages 74%.

In the past seven years Tana has drilled a total of 70 wells, 47 of which were successful in discovering over 450 BCFE gross and 162 BCFE net reserves. Tana's production currently comes from 16 producing leases containing 15 platforms, seven of which are non-operated with the remaining nine platforms operated by Tana. As of June 2009, Tana's net daily production exceeds 50 MMCFE/day with an additional 10 MMCFE/day expected to be online by the end of the third quarter.
