A Growing Inventory of Drilling Prospects

Tana Exploration has created a strong portfolio of exploration and production properties, which currently includes working interests in:

• 52 structures throughout the Gulf of Mexico shelf area, the majority of which we operate
• 74 wells in the Gulf of Mexico
• 195 wells along the Gulf Coast

In addition to our Gulf operations, we have an active drilling program in the prolific Fort Worth basin. Tana Exploration also has experience in international oil and gas ventures through our previous interests in an offshore drilling program in Thailand.

We have assembled a growing inventory of properties through various methods. In addition to generating new prospects on our existing properties, we have successfully participated in Gulf of Mexico lease sales. We also have bolstered our asset base with strategic acquisitions of producing fields, where we have applied our technical expertise to extend production through data reinterpretation, reservoir modeling and new field development work.

In 2011, Tana Exploration significantly expanded our asset base with the acquisition of Maritech Resources, which had substantial experience in economically producing mature properties in the Gulf of Mexico and pursuing successful development projects. This purchase enhances Tana Exploration’s operating capabilities and supports our long-term objective to increase our operator role and drive higher value for our partnerships. During 2012, we expect to drill about 10 wells on prospects acquired as part of the Maritech purchase.
